December 1st through December 12th, 2023. I'm going to be offering a free 12 day learning series hosted in our Facebook group, the Christian parenting community.
And this is designed to provide parents with a clear vision for 2024. Help you understand your priorities and values. Conquer past challenges. And shift from uncertainty and doubt to unshakable confidence and renewed self-belief in your journey as a parent. You'll walk away from the 12 day roadmap to parenting clarity and purpose in 2024 challenge with quite a few things, actually, [00:02:00] but most importantly, with a powerful, solid action plan for parenting in 2024. If 12 days sounds like. A lot.
I get it. And I want you to think of it less like a 12 day training and more like a simple 12 step process. I'm busy too. So I am totally respectful of the amount of time busy parents have to invest, especially around the holidays. I also tend to cater towards those who are similar to myself. I know what my audience is looking for because I am also my audience, which is super helpful by the way. I don't personally enjoy live. Or long trainings for a variety of reasons. Some of which are, I am never available at the same time the live is happening.
So I always miss something. I never get to participate in the live giveaways because again, I wasn't there or I missed a, [00:03:00] some sort of instructions about how to qualify. And there's always such a delay between the start. And the point. I kind of feel bad for saying it that way, but it's the truth. And I ended up getting pulled away or distracted before the end.
So I always missed the most important part. So I want you to know that your time. Is 100% respected and appreciated. I recognize that you all have a lot of other valuable things you could be doing and you choose to invest your time in this training. So I can assure you, there will be no fluff, no, dragging it out.
No making you wait around for a big reveal. Just full of value. And fun fact, the challenge is road trip themed. So here's what you can expect and when, and why. On day one, we're going to set the vision for 2024. We will clarify, reflect and create by the end of today. [00:04:00] You'll have a clear vision for your parenting journey in 2024. This vision will serve as the foundation for the rest of this 12 day challenge.
And most importantly, the bedrock of your entire parenting journey throughout 2024. On day two. We're going to overcome challenges from 2023. We're going to identify those challenges that we faced and then strategize to make sure we avoid what we can. And prepare for what we must moving forward into 2024. In other words, based on our road trip theme, we're going to set the GPS to avoid the toll roads.
And when we can't avoid the toll roads, because there's no other way we're going to pack correct change to avoid those expensive fee. Ad-ons. On day, number three, we're going to strengthen our faith. We're going to take a pit stop to refuel our faith because you can only go so far on one tank of gas and the same is true for our faith. We're going to reflect on your personal faith journey and its [00:05:00] impact on your parenting.
We'll discover ways to incorporate faith into daily interactions as a family. And remain strong in our spiritual growth in order to move forward at our best. On day four, we're going to cultivate consistency. No one likes starting stop traffic or construction delays. So on day four, we focus on techniques and strategies for creating and enhancing consistent routines. In order to enjoy a smooth. Peaceful ride on cruise control. Dave five, we utilize feedback from our children. Which is an often overlooked purpose. Unless you're road tripping all by yourself.
You're not only going to take your own snack preferences, music suggestions, and desired road trip attractions into consideration. So if great parenting is our destination. We can not only take our own opinions into consideration. It's a team effort. So today we [00:06:00] create a safe and welcoming space for your children to provide feedback.
And then we reflect on those perspectives and insights, and we use their feedback to set goals and make improvements where needed for 2024. There may only be one driver of this vehicle, but the peace and efficiency with which we make it to our destination is highly dependent on the energy of everyone who's along for the ride.
On day six, we celebrate our successes from 2023. The past few days may have been challenging. So we make a shift to yet another often overlooked necessity, celebrating our wins. It's time to break out the highlight reel and look through the pictures you took on your last adventure. Let's reflect on the achievements and the positive aspects of your parenting experience in 2023 and let's plan to carry those things forward. Day seven is creating an action plan for [00:07:00] 2024. Yes, we create the action plan on day seven. Because we can talk about our plans as long as we'd like, but we won't get very far without a clear map and strategy.
It's time to shift from plan to action. Today, we develop a clear and actionable plan for your parenting journey in 2024, so that you are well-prepared for the journey. You could stop here, but I hope that you don't because there's so much value yet to come. And you've been on this journey long enough to know you aren't yet as prepared as you could be. On day eight. We focus on nurturing communication and connection.
So how can we best ensure everyone has a voice on this journey? Today, we focus on communication and connection, and we learn affective techniques to foster open dialogue with your children. We'll also discover ways to strengthen the bond and connection with them to make this a more enjoyable journey for everyone. On [00:08:00] day nine, we build resilience. So it's great for you to be prepared for all the possible challenges ahead. But we cannot neglect the importance of preparing our children for the contingencies as well. So today we explore strategies for teaching them resilience, coping skills, and problem solving skills.
In addition to a growth mindset. These skills will be essential for navigating obstacles and staying on track. We'll discuss how to foster a supportive environment that encourages our children to bounce back with resilience along the way. On day 10. We prioritize self care as a parent. So think for just a brief moment, what could happen to everyone in the car?
If the driver never stopped to rest on a long road trip. Okay now stop. Cause we're not going to go there. I just wanted to put the importance into context today. We recognize the importance of self care in your parenting [00:09:00] journey. We're going to explore strategies that align with your values and recharge your energy. To best improve your overall wellbeing. On day 11, we cultivate gratitude and mindfulness. So today we emphasize the power of gratitude and mindfulness, because it's not all about reaching the destination.
There's also a lot of value in enhancing and enjoying the journey itself. We'll practice gratitude exercises and mindfulness techniques with your children, ensuring that you slow down and enjoy the experience along the way. We'll also implement a strategy for creating a more positive mindset in your family. And then on our final day, day 12. We review and commit to the parenting journey. We need to check the travel plans one last time and reflect on the insights and growth we've experienced throughout the planning process. We'll review your action plan and make any necessary adjustments. [00:10:00] This is the moment to ensure that your action plan fully aligns with the vision you created and ensure that your action plan fully supports your parenting vision. For 2024. We will also reaffirm your commitment to this journey and celebrate the progress that you've made.
